Proteins that contain metal ions (metalloproteins) constitute a diverse and hugely important work. My major research at UEA has been in metalloprotein spectroscopy, to characterise proteins, and specifically their structure determination, intermolecular interactions and conformational dynamics.

Specifically, my interest is focused in:

·         Studies of protein structure;

·         Studies of protein enzymatic activity;

·         Functional studies of protein-metal;
